24 Hour Emergency Service
Knowing who to contact in an emergency can save an animal’s life.
For 24 hour emergency veterinary service carried out by our own veterinary surgeons, please call
01952 726007.
For general information, veterinary appointments, repeat prescriptions please call during office hours.
It is important to remember that this is purely an emergency service.
The vet on call will have been working the previous day and will
have to be woken for advice.
Should your pet require emergency veterinary treatment during
the above hours, an Out of Hours charge is added to our standard
consultation charge plus any medication / treatment administered.

Our 24 Hour Emergency service starts from: 7.00pm – 8.30am Monday to Friday and from 1.00pm – 8.30am Saturday to Monday.
We are able to supply you with an Emergency Home visit, however
this again is an additional charge. Unfortunately we are never able
to bring a full range of diagnosis equipment and medication on a
home visit so we do encourage you to bring your pet to
the Much Wenlock surgery.
It would be difficult and unwise to try to list conditions that are not
emergencies, but situations which always need immediate
treatment are: difficulty in giving birth, not passing urine, prolapsed
eye, poisoning and traffic accidents.
If you do have an emergency then please do not hesitate to telephone
our emergency service, we will endeavour to help you as best as we can. |
