Emergencies

As part of our continued commitment to patient care, the recently formed Severn Edge Veterinary Group Partnership has created a new facility for emergency care of your pets at our site in Bridgnorth.

We will be providing 24hr supervision for all animals in our care, with a dedicated team of vets and nurses on site at all times. Your pets will be cared for by staff who are familiar to you and who have complete computer access to all your pet’s clinical records from any of our branches.  This was one of the main factors in our decision to merge the Old Pound Veterinary Centre and the Hollybush Veterinary Group, and we are very proud of the service that we can now offer.

It is very important that you familiarise yourself with the location of our hospital and the procedure in case of an emergency situation.  The phones will be answered by a member of our staff on site. There will be an additional ‘out-of-hours’ fee for this service.

IN CASE OF EMERGENCY

During normal opening hours, please call your usual branch.  If after-hours then please call our Bridgnorth branch direct on 01746 763998 or you will be transferred to Bridgnorth if you phone your normal branch number.

How to get there:

From Broseley direction: take the B4373 toward Bridgnorth.  At the first roundabout in Bridgnorth take the 2nd exit past sainsburys, 2nd exit at the next roundabout, 1st exit at next roundabout, 2nd exit at next roundabout and Severn Edge vets is 200m on rhs. Journey time 10 minutes.

From south of Bridgnorth: take the B4363 to Bridgnorth.  At the T-junction turn left and the  surgery is a ¼ of a mile on LHS, opposite Railway Street. Journey time 30 minutes

From Telford: Head towards Eastern Primary (A442).  After 4.4mls exit  towards Bridgnorth/Madeley Merge onto dual carriage way and STAY on A442 to Bridgnorth for 8.7mls At roundabout in Bridgnorth take 2nd exit but get into right lane. Turn right into St John's Street and follow straight on over the River Severn, past Severn Valley Railway on Left, and Severn Edge Veterinary Group is on left opposite Railway street. Journey time 30 minutes.
